I’ve been working at paying more attention to the world around me. It’s not something I feel like I’m very good at and I wanna get good at it before it’s too late.
I took a walk the other day actively trying to find scenes, details, etc. that I would have overlooked in a less mindful state. It wasn’t completely successful, but this hole in a decaying trunk caught my eye and I think that’s pretty good.
